Right up front, I have to tell you that I have absolutely no professional training in mass communication, advertising, public relations, graphic design, photography, etc.
What I do have, however, is a fascination with the environment that surrounds us, enough education and experience to understand it, and a knack (for lack of a more technical term - remember, I have no technical training in this stuff) for explaining it to a variety of audiences.
I've also been very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time throughout my professional career when opportunities have presented themselves to communicate horticulture/environmental issues through a variety of mass media outlets. (Click on the Radio, Television & Newspaper link at the bottom of this page for a quick introduction to my current mass media activities.)
So, click on any of the links at right to learn more about how my education and "seat-of-the-pants" experience can be helpful as you develop, implement and evaluate your next communications campaign.
