I know what you really want me to say is, "just spray XYZ repellent a couple of times each winter and deer will avoid your landscape and garden like the plague. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. The only 100% effective way to prevent deer browse damage is by enclosing your favorite plants - or entire garden inside a tall fence!
